Reality show star Sachin Sharma , known for his impactful appearances on Splitsvilla X5 and Roadies 19 , has emerged as a dynamic youth icon. But long before he became a familiar face on television, his journey began with an unwavering passion for dance.

For Sachin, dance isn’t just a passion it’s something that’s been a part of him since before he was even born. “My mom says that I used to dance even in her womb. I’ve been passionate about dancing since childhood,” he shares. His professional journey began at the age of 11, and with the guidance of his mentor Jatin Vashisth , he started shaping his skills and finding his unique rhythm. “My teacher, Jatin Vashisth, played a huge role in shaping my journey; he inspired and guided me throughout,” he says.

One of the defining moments of Sachin’s early career was auditioning for the popular reality show Dance India Dance . Reflecting on that experience, he says, “It was one of the best experiences of my life, my first time on a national television stage. A small kid from Haryana, full of nervousness and excitement, gave his all in that audition.” His passion and talent won the judges over, earning him a place in the Mumbai rounds. “I even cracked a lame joke to Geeta Maa , which she sweetly laughed at. It's a memory I’ll never forget,” he recalls with a smile.

The moment he was selected for the show was not just special for him, but also a milestone for his entire family. “My family never expected something like this. It was a huge moment for all of us. No one from our family or even our relatives had ever appeared on national television before. It was overwhelming,” Sachin says. His hometown also recognized his achievement in a big way. “My school even put up a big billboard of me in my city, and that made me feel extremely proud and grateful.”

From a young boy dancing in a small town to performing on national television, Sachin Sharma’s journey is a powerful reminder that dreams when backed by passion and dedication can take you places you never imagined.
