US Election 2024 Results: 'God spared my life for a reason', says Trump in victory speech

After Former President Donald Trump claimed victory in US presidential polls, he said that "God spared my life for a reason: to make America great again ", in his victory speech.

Trump was referring to two apparent assassination attempts that took place in Pennsylvania and Michigan, which he survived.

During his victory speech in Florida, he said, "God spared my life for a reason. And that reason was to save our country and restore America to greatness. And now we're going to fulfill that mission together."

“The task before us will not be easy, but I will bring every ounce of energy, spirit and fight that I have in my soul to the job that you’ve entrusted to me,” he added.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has stated he won the election over Democratic rival Kamala Harris. According o the results, he has won the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia.”

However, official results are still pending in several states, and no winner has been officially declared.
