CHENNAI: A 43-year-old man and his teenage daughter who tried to abandon a suitcase carrying a dead woman were caught at Minjur railway station on Monday after a commuter called police on seeing blood oozing out of the bag, reports Sindhu Kannan.
Police said the man from Nellore had murdered his neighbour, identified as Mannam Ramani, 65, on Sunday night for her gold ornaments, and stuffed the body in a suitcase and brought it to Chennai.
