The New Jersey Devils made a series of coaching announcements this week as they began to rebuild the roster after last season, when the team posted a 42-33-7 mark and went to the playoffs. The Devils have confirmed Ryan McGill and Chris Taylor, their assistant coaches, will not have contract extensions. Their exits are a dramatic change of direction as the Devils aim to enhance their performance and cash in on a playoff return that followed a disappointing 2023-24 campaign.
