How to defeat Alpha Heavy Henchmen in Fortnite

Fortnite ’s Wanted: Baron questline throws the players against some of the toughest enemies, the Alpha Heavy Henchmen . The armored foes hit quite hard, and they soak up the damage. It makes them one of the serious threats in the questline. But with proper strategy, you can take them down in an efficient way. Here is how you can eliminate them and complete the missions.



Find Alpha Heavy Henchmen


Alpha Heavy Henchmen do not roam freely like the regular guards. They instead spawn in 2 key locations,

• Forecast Towers and
  
• Bank vaults
  

If you trigger the vault heist by placing the Thermite on the vault door, at least 2 henchmen will appear as reinforcements.


The Forecast Towers also have 1 henchman patrolling the area. But they are easier to find mid-match. Look for the red-armored large enemies. Their shotguns make it impossible for them to be missed. Their color and size make them stand out from the standard henchmen.



Best strategies to take Alpha Heavy Henchmen down

The Alpha Heavies have shields and high health. So, to rush in blindly will not work. Instead, maintain distance and use the cover to avoid their devastating shotgun blasts. The SMGs or Assault rifles work best to chip away at their shields before you for the kill.


If you are in the close quarters, jump and strafe to make yourself hit harder. The shotguns can down you in just a few shots. So, to stay mobile is the key. After you defeat the Alpha Heavy Henchmen, collect dropped orders—a paper stack, to complete the quest step.



Farm Alpha Heavy Henchmen efficiently

As you need to eliminate 2 henchmen to complete the quest, robbing multiple vaults will be the fastest method. Each of the vault heist spawns at least 2 henchmen. So, repeating the process in different matches will speed things up.


Alternatively, you can land at the Forecast Towers early in the game when only a few players are around. The Alpha Heavy Henchmen respawn there, making it to be a reliable spot if the vaults are too contested.



Defeat henchmen to collect rewards

Besides the progress of the quest, the enemies will drop some uncommon shotguns. They can be useful in the early game. Most importantly, they are required to advance the Wanted: Baron storyline.
