Moon Banerrjee: Animals are very loyal and giving them food and shelter is a joyous feeling

Actress Moon Banerrjee who was last seen in the show Doree has recently got a cat home. The actress is an animal lover and she has had a pet dog in the past but having a cat is a new experience for her.

Moon says, "I have named my 6-month-old cat Aarna. I have had dogs earlier but she's my first cat and we got her home in November last year. She has brought in a lot of joy to me and she is just like my daughter to me. I wasn't a cat person until she came into our lives. She's a kitten so she's very playful, especially in the mornings. Cats are also very independent. When you leave for work you know they can manage on their own

The actress always makes sure she adopts the pets, "Having pets is therapeutic and they are stress busters. I never buy pets, I always adopt them. Animals are very loyal and giving them food and shelter is a joyous feeling. I even look after the stray cats and dogs around my building and give them food.”

The actress has been part of shows like Chashme Baddoor, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Muskaan and Sasural Simar Ka 2 amongst others.
