The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under India’s Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has officially released the admit card for the Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/Technical Examination 2025. This exam is a key step for candidates aspiring to join India’s premier internal intelligence agency in technical roles. With the admit card now available, candidates can access crucial details including exam date, reporting time, venue, and instructions for the examination day.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will assess candidates on areas such as general intelligence, reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and technical subjects. Downloading the admit card is mandatory, and candidates must carry it along with a valid photo ID to the examination center.

    Documents required on exam dayCandidates must carry the following items to the exam center:

    • Printed copy of the admit card
    • Valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport)
    • Two recent passport-sized photographs
    • A transparent water bottle
    Items like mobile phones, electronic gadgets, and paper notes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
    Exam day guidelines On the day of the IB JIO exam, candidates must follow the instructions mentioned below:

    • Reach the exam center at least 90 minutes before the scheduled time.
    • Follow biometric verification and ID checks strictly.
    • Check the exam hall instructions carefully before starting the test.
    • Do not attempt to carry any prohibited items; it may lead to disqualification.
    • Keep calm and manage time efficiently during the exam.
