Gurgaon: A 35-year-old-man was found murdered in IMT Manesar area on Monday. Initial investigations — based on the findings of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and the scene-of-crime team — said Ravi Kumar had suffered a fatal head injury caused by a stone, "suggesting a deliberate and violent intent".
A police officer said that the motive behind the man's murder remains unclear.
However, police believe the nature of the attack indicated "personal enmity or a premeditated assault". Ravi, a resident of Pinana village in Sonipat, had gone missing on Sunday night.
Ravi, who was working at a private company in IMT Manesar, had been living on rent in Aliyar village.
His body was discovered at 10am lying near a roadside shanty in Sector 8. Local residents spotted the body and informed the police promptly. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Investigators are questioning Ravi's colleagues and residents of Aliyar village.
