Nuh: One person died while five others suffered injuries after their auto-rickshaw had a head-on collision with an Alto near Dhulawat village in Nuh on Sunday morning. According to the police, Rajbir (24) of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, was a labourer in a local factory. He boarded an auto-rickshaw from Sohna for Tauru while four other men were already sitting inside the vehicle. When the vehicle reached Dhulawat village under KMP, a speeding car rammed into it. Rajbir was sitting next to the driver and went through the front mirror at the moment of the collision. He was caught between the vehicles and suffered serious head and leg injuries.
Some locals informed the police, following which the victims were rushed to a hospital. Rajbir was referred to the Nalhar Medical College, citing critical conditions, where he succumbed to injuries.
"Rajbir suffered a fatal head injury. The other victims are stable. The car driver also suffered injuries after the vehicles collided while taking a turn near the accident spot. We have registered an accident case against the car driver," Sadar Tauru SHO Jitender said. The body was handed over to Rajbir's family post-autopsy on Sunday.
