MUMBAI: There is a megablock on Central Railway ’s Matunga-Mulund slow lines from 11.05 am to 3.55 pm today. The Up slow line services departing Thane from 11.07 am to 3.51 pm will be diverted onto the Up fast line at Mulund, between Mulund and Matunga stations.
They will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, and Sion stations, and will be re-diverted onto the Up slow line at Matunga station, arriving at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
On the Harbour line , the block is being carried out between Mankhurd and Nerul from 11.15 am to 4.15 pm. Special services will run between CSMT Mumbai-Mankhurd and Panvel-Nerul/Thane during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via the Trans-harbour line/Main line until 6 pm.
There is no day block on WR today, which will be a relief to those travelling by local trains on Sunday. Earlier, in the early hours of Sunday, a block was undertaken on fast lines between Borivali and Bhayandar stations.
