Virender Sehwag, one of India’s most celebrated cricketers, recently celebrated his birthday. While he is known for his on-field prowess, fans are often curious about his interests beyond cricket. In an old interview during a commentary session, Virender Sehwag revealed his favourite Bollywood diva.

When asked by a fan which actress he would love to share screen space with if given a chance, Viru paaji named none other than legendary Madhuri Dixit.

Instead of picking contemporary stars like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif, Virender Sehwag chose Madhuri Dixit, an icon of Bollywood from the 90s and 2000s. Known for her timeless beauty and exceptional dancing skills, Madhuri has been one of the most successful and popular actresses of Bollwood. Virender Sehwag’s admiration for her is no surprise, given her impact on Indian cinema during her career peak.

Madhuri Dixit Nene has starred in some of the biggest hits in Bollywood, such as “Saajan”, “Khalnayak”, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun”, “Dil Toh Pagal Hai”, “Pukar”, “Devdas” and many more. After taking a break to focus on her family, she made a successful comeback with films like “Kalank” and the popular OTT series “The Fame Game”. Madhuri Dixit is now gearing up for her role in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” in which she will be seen with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri.

Virender Sehwag, who represented India from 1999 to 2013, is considered one of the greatest batsmen in Indian cricket history. Known for his aggressive playing style, Virender Sehwag was honored as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World in 2008. In 2023, he was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, solidifying his legendary status in the cricket world.

“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” is going to release on Diwali and it will clash with Ajay Devgn starrer “Singham Again” but one thing is for sure that Viru Paaji will certainly like to watch BB3 first as it stars Madhuri Dixit. What do you say?
