The final of the first major snooker tournament of the season takes place this afternoon with 2024 world champion Kyren Wilson facing six-time ranking title winner Ali Carter. As well as the trophy in China, £210,000 is on the line for the winner in the best-of-21 frame match.
'The Warrior' Wilson has taken out Si Jiahui, many people's greatest player of all time, Ronnie O'Sullivan, and reigning world champion Zhao Xintong having had a first-round bye as the world No.2.
While 'The Captain' Carter - ranked 17th in the world - has come past Lei Qui, last year's World Championship runner-up and three-time world champion Mark Williams, Xiao Guodong and four-time world champion Mark Selby.
