Slow Horses season five is just around the corner and Apple TV+ has just unveiled the trailer for the BAFTA Award-winning espionage drama.
Comprising six episodes, the fifth outing is based on London Rules, the next novel in Mick Herron's book series.
Sir Gary Oldman returns in the trailer as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spy group.
In the new season, everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho (Christopher Chung) introduces a glamorous new girlfriend.
When a series of strange events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is linked.
The trailer shows Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) explaining how eleven people were killed during a shooting, which they believe Ho had something to do with.
Jackson is immediately suspicious of his new love interest as it transpires "sinister forces are trying to bring down the country".
The Slow Horses are against the clock as they are left with just an hour to spare before the culprits carry out their next violent act, which could put over 5,000 lives at risk.
What is worse, it appears the Slow Horses have been "played" by one of their own following a suspected system breach.
Fans have already flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the gripping trailer, which stars Emmy Award nominee Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke, and Academy Award nominee Jonathan Pryce.
One said: "One of the best shows ever created," while a second shared: "Oh that's cheered me up."

A third commented: "I have to watch this," and a fourth added: "This show made me fall in love with the quality of Apple Tv. Never gonna leave Apple TV."
Season five will also welcome Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed as a special guest.
Critics hailed it "undoubtedly the best spy series on television," a "truly epic espionage thriller" that is "utterly brilliant".
Slow Horses premieres on September with the first episode, followed by one episode weekly until October 29.
Seasons six and seven of the darkly comedic spy drama have already been announced.
Slow Horses season 5 will air on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, September 24
