Princess Beatrice gives an impassioned speech in Abu Dhabi after pregnancy announcement

delivered an impassioned speech in Abu Dhabi just weeks after her pregnancy announcement.

Travelling for the ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference, the 36-year-old issued a rallying call to the public.

Discussing the value of an inclusive approach to AI, Beatrice said: "We need to have everyone's voice at the table.

"We need to have the energy sector, we need to have the AI companies, we need to have the individuals, but most importantly we also need the consumers as well, to come along on that journey with us."

Just one week after her trip to Saudi Arabia for the Future Investment Initiative, Jennifer Gnana - who is a reporter based in the Middle East - referred to Beatrice as having become a "culture ambassador of sorts for the UK in the Middle East".

Although a member of the extended Royal Family by birth, Beatrice is not an official working royal - unlike the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Making a living through her day job, the mother of one works as the Vice President of Partnerships & Strategy at software firm Afiniti.

Her mother Sarah Ferguson recently praised her daughter - as well as her sister Princess Eugenie - for their drive and work ethic.

She said: "It's almost, this is the university of life for me to be learning from young people that are actually out there doing the work. It's like Beatrice and Eugenie are out there doing the work. Eugenie does a lot with The Anti-Slavery Collective, Beatrice does an enormous amount in technology and with dyslexia and really believes in humanity in the workplace, with compassion."

Already mum to three-year-old Sienna, Beatrice is also a stepmother to her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's son Wolfie, eight, and soon will become mother to another child.

Buckingham Palace shared the couple's happy news last month. They wrote on social media: "His Majesty The King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news." Princess Beatrice is due next spring.
