Fans questioned why Meghan Markle was noticeably missing from the final show of Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour, which ended in Las Vegas on Sunday July 26. Beyonce's final gig of tour was star-studded, with huge Hollywood celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Kerry Washington, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, and even Tyler Perry attending.
The gang all stood in the VIP section together, with Gayle sharing the huge moment with her Instagram followers. She penned: "Grand opening, grand closing! Here in Las Vegas with the cowboy crew to see @beyonce close out her historic Cowboy Carter tour!!" as the group all smiled for the camera.
Meghan and Oprah's friendship grew following her and Prince Harry's move to LA, which resulted in an infamous interview with the TV star which escalated tensions with the Royal Family. Tyler Perry also invited Harry and Meghan to stay in his home as they announced their exit as senior royals. The former royal also attended Beyonce's Cowboy Carter gig in Los Angeles back in May with her husband Prince Harry, with pair packing on the PDA.
Her absence was noted by social media users, as one penned: "Montecito plates are breaking all over the place." Another added: "WAIT! But where is Meghan? I see all her BESTIES showing up at the Beyoncé concert, but no Meghan!
"Oprah, Gayle, Kerry Washington, Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, even Tyler Perry! But NO MEGHAN!!! Oh oh, is there trouble in Montecito Paradise??"
It comes after royal experts claimed that Beyonce's mum Tina Knowles subtly put down Meghan while appearing on her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.
During the episode, Tina talked about doing business with her megastar daughter as she gave Meghan advice on family, saying: "We have disagreements about things, but it's her business.
"I'm helping with the business because I just want to leave this earth knowing that she, other than entertainment, is going to be okay," as she said she picks up the phone to build bridges, adding: "It's her business, so she gets to win."
Royal Correspondent Sarah Hewson spoke to The Sun about the moment, saying: "There was one particular line that stood out for me when Tina said that she [picks up the phone because she doesn't want to miss time with her daughter].
"Oh, wow, ok, because, you're talking to someone who is no longer speaking to her father and whose husband is no longer speaking to his father.
"It really stood out because she used the phrase wasted time and Meghan agreed and said, 'yes, it's wasted time'.
"Surely she had that reflection of, well, there's a lot of people around in our lives."
The Sun's former Royal Correspondent and author Charles Rae agreed and said: "I agree with Sarah. That put down of 'you've got to not have arguments within the family and everything else'. I bet she forgets that bit."
