took a huge swipe at celebrity player Ria Hebden after he spotted a mortifying blunder during her cash-builder round. During Friday's visit (April 18) to the studios, Bradley Walsh welcomed four new hopefuls onto the teatime show. This week, the TV presenter welcomed four familiar faces onto the programme for a charity edition of the long-running show.
Taking on the professional quizzer this week was Cherry Healey, Dallas Campbell, Ria Hebden and Robert Peston. The quartet put their general knowledge to the test as they went up to Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha, who certainly brought his A-game to the table.
Despite his best efforts, the game got off to a cracking start with Cherry successfully landing a place in the final round after bringing home an impressive £8,000 from her cash builder.
Next up to the podium was The Gadget Show host who added a further £7,000 to the prize pot after a nail-biting head-to-head round. Hoping to follow in their footsteps was entertainment presenter Ria - who often presents on Lorraine and This Morning.
Before she began her cash-builder round, Bradley asked her who the most famous person is that she has interviewed throughout her career, to which she proudly revealed was the Prince and Princess of Wales. Despite her impressive achievements, the broadcaster failed to blow viewers away with her general knowledge.
In the cash-builder round, the 42-year-old star only managed to rake in £3,000 in two minutes. The TV favourite was left utterly red-faced when she was asked one final question: "Which queen marked the end of the Tudor dynasty?" to which she replied: "Oh, I'm terrible with British royalty. Pass!"

Bradley then revealed the correct answer was Elizabeth I as the buzzer went off, ending the round. After a difficult round, Ria begged viewers: "Don't judge me" before asking Brad: "Did we make any money?" to which he revealed that she had earned £3,000.
As Paul returned to the stage for the head-to-head round, he took a cheeky jab at the presenter on air. He chuckled: "Hello Ria, that was a unique moment in British history. You boasted that you'd interviewed the Prince and Princess of Wales and then finished the cash-builder with the words, 'I'm terrible with British history'."
Thankfully, Ria was able to laugh off the awkward moment, and showed the professional quizzer what she was really made of in the head-to-head when she secured her position in the final chase.
Next up to the podium was Robert Preston, who raked in an impressive £5,000 in the cash-builder. Despite earning an impressive sum, he decided to go big and played for £82,000. The journalist managed to secure the eye-watering sum, bringing their joint total up to £100,000.
It was at this point that Paul confessed the star-studded team had achieved "one of the highest scores in Celebrity Chase history" and the drama didn't end there.
The team correctly answered 23 questions between them in two minutes and correctly answered seven of Paul's incorrect answers in the final round. The team successfully secured their jaw-dropping prize money which they donated to their chosen charities.
The Chase airs on weekdays from 5pm on ITV1 or catch up on ITVX.
