The 48-year-old paired her top with a large gold buckled tanned belt, a long yellow skirt, and nude sandals to present the instalment alongside co-host Ben Shephard. Meanwhile, Ben donned a dark green polo shirt with grey trousers to present the staple.

Cat's clothing choice was almost identical to the outfit she showcased on Monday when she returned to the show after the half-term holidays to update people on the latest news and gossip.

However, the halterneck she wore on Monday's show was black and the slit down her chest was lower. Naturally, it sparked comments from fans who deemed it "inappropriate" for daytime television.

Recently, her co-star Rochelle Humes revealed This Morning bosses changed their minds about a long-running clothing rule for the hosts.

Rochelle shared that all the hosts have been following a dress code that is closely monitored by bosses, with presenters being told to dress for the occasion.

Taking to TikTok, the former singer said: "There's a new rule. We didn't used to be allowed to wear jeans, did we? But we can wear jeans now. This is amazing news for me."
