has confessed to doing something sneaky behind her husband Chris Hughes' back, vowing not to reveal her secret until he spots it himself.
The 53-year-old radio host revealed she had made a change to her appearance following a recent holiday with her friend Jane, that her daughters approved of.
Despite being back from her trip for two days already, she told her co-star Jason King, aka JK that her husband remains oblivious to the alteration.
Speaking on Heart Radio on Tuesday, she told JK: "So, I promised that I would disclose something to you that Christopher, my lovely husband, knows nothing about."
Convinced her husband wouldn't be listening at this that of day, Amanda continued to spill that one of their daughters was present when the undisclosed change took place, and the other now wants the same thing done.
"There is something different about me and I have been home for 48 hours," she continued, prompting Jason to compliment her hair.
After confirming that her hair remained the same, she went on to say: "And my darling husband, who is always full of compliments, said I looked really well when I got back, this, that, and the other when I got back, [but] has still not noticed this difference."
Amanda said she was going to continue keeping Chris in the dark about her secret, until he notices.
Just before sharing all with JK, he confessed that he felt "freaked out" by the imminent reveal as she rose from her chair.
Swiftly taken aback by the sight, he then blurted out: "No! Why did you not tell me about this? That's crazy! I flipping love it!".
Amanda concluded that Chris was likely to notice her change at a family dinner this evening, and told listeners to wait for an update on Wednesday's show.
