A woman in her 20s has died after fall 'from a height' at a skyscraper at Canary Wharf.
The forensics tent and police cordon is in place outside Sirocco Tower, a 32-floor apartment block on Harbour Way, in the heart of the city's financial district. She fell to her death just after 6am this morning.
Emergency services were called, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The death of the woman, who has not yet been identified, is being treated as unexpected by the Met Police, who say they are investigating.

Police told the Mirror: “At around 06:39hrs on Wednesday, 13 August police responded to calls that a person had fallen from height in Harbour Way, Canary Wharf.
“Police and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene but sadly a woman in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Her next of kin have been notified and are being supported by specialist officers. At this time her death is being treated as unexpected and enquiries continue.”
Residents reported hearing sirens in the area at around 6am. Police as medics rushed to the scene after the emergency services were called.
A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance rushed to the scene to the support ground service. It is unclear what level of the huge building the woman fell from.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: "We were called at 6.37am today to reports of a person fallen from height on Harbour Way, Isle of Dogs.
"We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.
"We also dispatched a trauma team in a car from London's Air Ambulance. Very sadly, a woman was pronounced dead at the scene."
