Millie Radford was in an "absolute state" after being informed that a member of her family required urgent surgery. The 22 Kids & Counting took to social media to reveal the devastating news alongside her husband, Harley Passmore.
The 23-year-oldshared that her beloved puppy, Bella. required the emergency operation in order to prevent its bladder from exploding, with Harley saying it was "very sad news." Taking to TikTok, the couple shared that they had found a lump on their four-legged relative and Millie instantly took the dog to the vets.
"She has an outside hernia, so basically, it's now affecting her bowel, and she's got a split muscle as well," Millie said. She went on to add: "She needs to have an emergency operation tomorrow. 'Cause if not, her bladder will basically just explode. She will pass away.

"She's going to stay there for the night, but when I took her yesterday, he said she's really, really lucky. She's had this since she was born, since she's been about ten weeks. She's going to have surgery tomorrow which is going to last about two and a half hours, and then she has to stay there tomorrow night and collect her on Friday."
Harley later added that if Bella didn't eat or drink on Friday, she would be required to stay for a further night. Millie added: "They just said she's really, really lucky, 'cause she's such a small puppy, the hernia is actually really, really big, he said she's very lucky."
The diagnosis took Millie by surprise as she had attended the veterinary surgery to have her puppy have its jabs. "I actually rang my mum whilst I was still in my appointment, I was in absolute disbelief, I was crying my eyes out," she said.
Meanwhile, Harley commented that he had never seen her husband so upset since they first met one another. At the appointment, Millie was joined by her daughter Ophelia, as she hadn't been expecting such upsetting news.

"I felt really guilty, I was an absolute state," she added, before sharing that the vet had been shocked by Bella's condition as she had been running around like normal. Her TikTok, which has been viewed 110,000 times, was flooded with messages of support from her online fans.
"Well done for noticing the lump and taking her in," said one. A second went on to add: "Sending prayers. Sending speedy recovery, sending love and hugs." "Aw no sorry to hear this, hope the surgery goes well for her tomorrow sending hugs to you both," wrote a third.
The heartache comes just days after viewers saw Millie's husband rushed to the hospital during the latest episode of the family TV show. Harley suffered a period of poor health, with initial concerns being that he may have suffered a stroke. In the episode, Millie phoned her mum, saying "I'm in an ambulance with Harley. One half of his face has all gone lopsided.
"It looks like he's had a stroke. He's slurring his words. He's really panicking, I'm panicking." Eventually, after an agonising wait, they discover that Harley hasn't had a stroke, but is suffering from Bell's Palsy. The neurological disorder causes the sufferer to develop paralysis or weakness on one side of their face.
The condition can have devastating consequences such as sight loss, and while many patients recover fully from the paralysis, not everyone does. Harley says: "They came in with my results, my MRI results were totally fine which means I didn't have a stroke."
