Former Love Island winner Finley Tapp has announced the joyous news that he and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together. The couple shared the news today and have been met with well wishes from other reality TV stars.
Finn, 25, who won the winter series with ex-girlfriend Paige Turley in 2020, announced the news in a joint Instagram post with his partner Jess. They wrote in the caption this afternoon: "We can't wait to meet you! Our hearts are so full."
The post included a series of a photos. Among them was a black and white photo of Jess, who went public with their relationship last year, with her baby bump beneath a t-shirt as she clutched onto a string of ultrasound photos.
Another photo in the post showed the couple smiling as Finn's partner held up the scans. The post also included a photo of positive pregnancy tests, as well as another showing "baby" and a heart painted on a wall.
The post amassed more than 40,000 likes within a few hours and the couple were met with well wishes in the comments section. It included messages from other Love Island winners.
Liam Reardon wrote: "Massive congratulations both." Kai Fagan said: "Congrats mate." Molly Smith, who won All Stars last year, commented: "Congratulations."
A host of other islanders also reacted. Shaughna Phillips, who is herself pregnant, wrote: "Omg congratulations!!!!!" Joe Garratt said: "Love you brother. Congrats you two!" Ciaran Davies and Andrew Le Page were among the others who congratulated the couple following the announcement.
Finley won the sixth series of Love Island, which aired in 2020. Prior to appearing on the show, he was a semi-professional football player and has played for teams such as Oxford City and Milton Keynes Dons over the course of his career.
He won the ITV2 show with his now ex-partner Paige, now 27. The former couple continued their relationship after returning to the UK following the final and it was then reported three years later that they had split up.

Later confirming their break-up, Paige said on Love Island companion show Aftersun in 2023 that they remained on good terms. She told host Maya Jama: "We're still really good friends. It was just ... I think we drifted apart."
They later appeared on MTV's Celebrity Ex On The Beach. Whilst promoting the show, Paige suggested that the former couple had become "very different people" and that her ex Finn had "grown up" since they first met in 2020.
As reported at the time, Finn agreed. He said: "I have. When we done Love Island I was way too young to do that show. I was just like very naive to the world."
Finn has since been in a relationship with Jess. The couple went public with their romance last summer and have continued to keep fans updated in recent months. It included him making another announcement last month.
He revealed just weeks ago that they had become home owners, saying: "Today we picked up the keys to our little Victorian home! We cannot wait to get started with the renovations and make it our own! We couldn't be happier."
