Laurence Fox marries conspiracy theorist podcaster in secret ceremony

Former actor, Laurence Fox, has tied the knot with conspiracy theorist podcaster, Elizabeth Barker, in a secret ceremony. Laurence 47, who was previously married to Billie Piper, revealed the news today on X, formerly Twitter.

Revealing the couple had wed in a registry office to "avoid having to encounter anyone from the Church of England," Laurence wrote - while posting snaps of the pair along with his father, actor, James Fox -: "In order to avoid having to encounter anyone from the @churchofengland myself and my beautiful wife @CaliforniaFrizz signed a piece of paper in a registry office today. Proper wedding in a few days with nearest and dearest in the eyes of God."

Responding to the photos, in which Laurence is seen smoking a cigarette and wearing jeans and trainers while Elizabeth sports a white linen dress, holding a Chanel bag, his fans sent their congratulations.

One replied: "Congrats!! Great !It's so good that you found each other. I wish you both a prosperous future and that love prevails in difficult times as well as in happy ones."

Meanwhile, another said: "Congratulations. Wishing you both health and happiness."

After revealing news of his wedding, Laurence later posted another photo of himself snuggling up to his new wife, writing: "I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with this bed wench. ⁦@CaliforniaFrizz."

The Reclaim Party leader announced his engagement last year. The former GB News presenter shared a post on X captioned 'some personal news', which showed Elizabeth sporting a sparkler before joking to followers that he was 'punching'.

Elizabeth, known to many as Liz was seen alongside the former Celebrity Gogglebox personality as he attended the High Court in November at the start of his libel trial.

The divorced dad-of-two was sued by former Stonewall trustee Simon Blake and drag artist Crystal over a row on Twitter, now known as X, in October 2020.

Liz has also courted controversy with her Elite Thinking Club podcast, which often airs jaw-dropping conspiracy theories. During one episode of the podcast about the evolution of humans descending from apes, Liz, who describes herself as a body double and stuntwoman mused: "I think that's what we're made to believe and that is what we should be believing, but I don't think that is. No. I think we come from another race."

She also claimed that climate change was a 'smoke screen' for government control, musing: "I feel like [climate change] is the next emergency they want to throw at us.

"It's like we've gone from the Covid emergency to climate change... The next thing we want to control you with is climate change."

Meanwhile, the model also stated she believed that the first moon landing in 1969 was a "big lie".
