Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 are now open, and one retailer is offering free Apple AirPods to customers. The offer is available when ordering aniPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Those who place their orders before the end of the pre-order window, this coming Friday, September 19, will get a pair of AirPods 4 for free. Usually they cost shoppers £179.

The Currys-backed retailer, Mobiles.co.uk, is bundling the Apple earbuds with select tariffs of the iPhone 17 range, each of which includes unlimited calls and texts and data allowances ranging from 100GB to unlimited.

Apple's flagship range has been out for less than a week, launching at its 'Awe-Dropping' event in California last Friday, September 12. UK shoppers keen to get their hands on a device can currently pre-order any of the new models from various UK retailers, however, deals like these £0 AirPods will end when pre-orders stop.

At Mobiles.co.uk prices kick off at £38.99 per month for the standard iPhone 17, increasing to £49.99 for the iPhone 17 Pro and £53.99 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. It's also important to note that there's an upfront cost with each plan, which varies depending on the chosen data allowance.

Customers can also get up to £500 when they trade in an older iPhone, depending on the make, model and condition. This value is based on an eligible, fully working iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB, inclusive of a £50 promotional trade-in offer, so older models will receive a lower trade-in value.

In addition to the free earbuds, customers can also claim a three-month subscription to Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+ at no extra cost. There are no free AirPods available with the iPhone Air, with customers ordering the new ultra-thin model receiving a free Belkin 2-in-1 MagSafe charger worth £109.99, reports the Daily Record.

Meanwhile, Amazon has also slashed the price of the AirPods 4 from £129 to £119. But for shoppers choosing the Mobiles.co.uk offer, the retailer has garnered thousands of five-star ratings on Trustpilot.
