Dani Dyer may have won Love Island with former partner Jack Fincham in 2018, but her first appearance on reality TV was far from a win.
Earlier today, the 29-year-old made the heartbreaking announcement that she was withdrawing from Strictly Come Dancingdue to an injury just days before the first live show.
And it's not the first time the star has had to pull out of a show due to injury. In early 2018, before entering Love Island, Dani was due to appear on ITV's Survival of the Fittest.

However, her dreams of a reality show debut came crashing down when she dislocated her shoulder during a pre recorded challenge on the show.
The star was rushed to hospital in South Africa, and was forced to quit after producers decided it wasn't safe for her to continue.
Later speaking about the incident on Good Morning Britain, Dani said: "I tried to put it back in and carry on with the challenge, and it just got worse. It was so bad the pain, it was horrible."
She then denied the Love Island rumours during the interview, but entered the villa as an OG just months later.

Now, history is unfortunately repeating itself for Dani, as she's now being forced to withdraw from this year's Strictly Come Dancing due to a fractured ankle.
Taking to social media to share the devastating statement, the mother of three penned: "I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.
"Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show.
"To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on."
Viewers watched on as Dani was paired with Nikita Kuzmin during Saturday night's pre recorded live show, and at this moment in time, it is not yet known whether the show will replace her.
Strictly's executive producer Sarah James said Dani and Nikita's partnership had got off "to the most sensational start", and "everyone on the show is incredibly sad that she's no longer able to compete in this year's series".
"We send her all our love and best wishes for a swift recovery, and we very much hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future."
Dani has been flooded with well wishes from her Strictly family, with head judge Shirley Ballas writing: "I'm so so sorry. But health is most important. Get well soon Angel."
