star Sacha Parkinson, who played Sian Powers on the soap has welcomed her first baby. The star announced that she gave birth to her daughter last week as she shared some adorable snaps.
“1 whole week of Sadie," the 32-year-old wrote alongside black and white pictures of daughter Sadie. The comments were filled with well wishes from fans and friends, including Sacha's former co-stars.
"Aww congratulations to you both!" wrote, while Lucy Fallon penned: "“Gorgeous. Hope you’re all ok.”

Sacha shared the exciting news in December, sharing photos of her baby scans and bump on . "Merry Eve, Huns," she wrote. "I have a feeling next year's going to be a wild one."
The announcement came just over a year after Sacha announced she was engaged to her partner Jon. Taking to Instagram, Sacha shared a photo showing off her stunning ring - along with photos with partner Jon on a boat shortly after he popped the question.
"'I knew you were likely to take a wife.' SCREAMING," she wrote in the caption. Once again, the couple were flooded with well wishes from friends and fans to which Sacha responded: "Thank u thank u thank u, you gorgeous bunch of people."
Sacha is best known in the soap for her portrayal of Sian Powers in , making her first appearance in 2009. During her time in the soap - Sacha took part in many hard hitting storylines.
Sian was disowned by her father Vinnie after coming out after striking a relationship with Sophie Webster. The pair became the show's first lesbian couple.
However, things took a turn at their wedding when Sophie ran off while saying her vows. Sian later learned that Sophie had kissed Amber Kalirai.
The devastation was too much for Sian, who left Weatherfield and returned to Southport to be with her mother Janet.
Since her departure from the cobbles in 2011, Sacha has starred in a number of dramas including My Mad Fat Diary, Mr Selfridge, Cold Feet, and most recently ITV's The Bay.
