Beyonce was forced to halt her show after the flying car she was sitting on appeared to tilt mid-air. The incident occurred on Saturday at her Cowboy Carter show in Houston and left her fans terrified as they watched on in horror.
The red car prop is usually in an upright position and is connected to various cables as she soars way above the cheering audiences down below. However, on this occasion, the car began to slant during her 16 Carriages performance.
Visibly shaken, Beyonce, 43, could be heard saying: “Stop,” before adding: “Stop, stop, stop,” as the concern could be heard in her voice. The crowd went quiet before they started yelling and cheering.

The car prop was then slowly and safely brought back down to the stage, and thankfully nobody was hurt during the commotion. The singing superstar briefly left the stage before coming back to conclude the performance.

After finishing the song, she told her fans: “'I wanna thank y'all 'for loving me, if ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me,” in a poignant message of courage.
Despite everything turning out okay, Beyonce’s fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their concerns. One fan wrote: “Beyonce handled that floating car malfunction like a pro at her #CowboyCarter show in Houston.”
Another X user penned: “I just watched like 15 videos of the Houston car fiasco. Beyonce ALWAYS performs through a malfunction. ALWAYS. So the fact that she actually stopped the concert means she was terrified. You can hear the shakiness In her voice too. Omg.”
Somebody else warned: “If Beyonce gets on that car tonight I’m flying to Houston and throwing that car away myself because this almost gave me a heart attack.”
Yet another fan who was present at the show, later said: “The flying car was fine at first. I caught the moment it started to lean and then stopped mid-air. Everyone in my section was concerned.”
This isn’t the first time that Beyonce has suffered a mechanical issue on her Cowboy Carter tour. In May, at her show in Los Angeles, a robot on stage had failed to hit it’s mark.

As she took a pause to sit down on a gold throne at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, a robotic arm attempted to pour bottle of liquor into her glass, but ended up pouring it over the golden chair she was sitting on.
The mum-of-three was supposed to take a sip of the drink, but upon realising that the glass was empty, she smiled and continued the act by picking up a remote and pretending to turn on a television.
The Cowboy Carter Tour, which is officially called Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour, is her worldwide tour in support of her album Cowboy Carter. It features 32 stadium shows across the US and Europe.
The musician began the tour back in April in Inglewood, California and is all set to conclude in July in Paradise, Nevada. Fans have been donning their best Cowboy hats and cowboy get-ups as they flocked to the stadiums to enjoy the show.
Beyonce’s 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy has been a part of her shows, acting as a back-up dancer with the rest of the dancer. Her youngest daughter Rumi, 8, has also been making special appearances on stage, much to the delight of her fans.
