In Mahabharata, the disrobing of Draupadi is considered one of the most reprehensible incidents. In such a situation, we are going to tell you why Yudhishthira gambled away his wife Draupadi even after losing his brothers.
Let us tell you that Yudhishthira first gambled away his property but Duryodhana won because the dice were in Duryodhana's favor. Due to this, Yudhishthira lost his property.
After the defeat, Yudhishthira gambled away many of his valuable things but he lost everything one by one. After this, Yudhishthira and the rest of the Pandavas also lost all their jewellery and crowns.
In the end, Yudhishthira had nothing left to gamble away, so Shakuni suggested him to gamble away his brothers. Yudhishthira put his brothers at stake and he lost Bhima and Arjuna in this game.
Shakuni showed false sensitivity and explained to Yudhishthira that his wife Draupadi is also alive. He said that if you win then you will get everything back.
He put a condition in front of Yudhishthira and said that if the numbers of the dice come according to Yudhishthira's wish then Duryodhan will return the kingdom, property, valuables, brother and his wife to Yudhishthira.
By doing this, Yudhishthira put Draupadi at stake as well. After this this disaster happened and Mahabharat was composed.
