During a recent conversation on Star Sports with Navjot Singh Sidhu, Neeraj was asked which Indian cricketer he thinks could perform well in javelin. Without hesitation, he named Bumrah.

"Mujhe lagta hai ki koi fast bowler hi hoga. Jab proper fitness ke saath honge toh Jasprit Bumrah," said Neeraj. (I think it would be a fast bowler. So, I think a fully fit Jasprit Bumrah will be good at it.)
