Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): Thousands of people flocked to Nagdwari Mela in Pachmarhi on the third day on Tuesday, when the area echoed with the chants of Har Har Mahadev.
There was a long queue on the way from Pachmarhi to Nagdwar. The officials of the district administration are keeping an eye on the area to deal with any emergency situation.
Additional district magistrate DK Singh, secretary of Mahadev Mela Samiti, and sub-divisional magistrate Aneesha Shrivastava inspected various sectors.
Nearly 630 policemen have been posted at the fair site to deal with any emergency situation and help devotees. The vehicles from Pachmarhi to Jalgali are being controlled with the help of the prescribed permission.
A team of officials of the transport department is also acting against the vehicle operators who are arbitrarily charging fares from the devotees.

The sanitary workers are also keeping the area clean round the clock. This is the reason that the workers of the civic body are provided with food at the site. The family members separated from one another were brought together.
A resident of Nagpur, Pramila Nimbandkar, separated from her family members at Jalgali. When the officials searched for her, they came to know that she had safely returned to her home in Nagpur with the other members of her group.
Similarly, Vaishnavi, who was separated from her family, was found by the officials of the district administration. They united her with family members. Vehicle operation permits are also allotted at the fair site, and 366 permits were allotted till Tuesday.
