Dussehra Celebration Concludes at Saraswati Mandir with Grand Festive

Saraswati Mandir High School of Saraswati Mandir Education Society, located in Mahim Mumbai since 1950, celebrates the sharadotsav with great fervour and zeal as many years from the day of Ghatsthapana until dussehra.

This year dussehra festival was celebrated on 12th October 2024. The event commenced with the worship of goddess followed by the releasing of the "Sharda" manuscript of the three sections English, Marathi and SMES, along with cultural program and prize distribution ceremony.

This year on the occasion of the school's Amrut Mahotsav, a special program was arranged by management. The chief guest Chinmay Shirodkar, an esteemed alumnus of Saraswati Mandir High school, he received his higher education from ISRO's Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum, currently he is working as a researcher at Skyroot Aerospace. President Kotnis was welcomed him with a token of honor.

All the management officials were present on this occasion.

The Highlight of the festival was the honoring the students who passed the matriculation examination in 1961,along with those who achieved top ranks in the class 10 exams up to 2024. Honoring all top performing students was a nostalgic moment.

Chinmay Shirodkar in his speech expressed heartfelt gratitude to goddess Saraswati, the school teacher's and parents for his success. He shared about his success and journey to ISRO. He encouraged students to dream big and pursue those dreams.

Subsequently, the president of the managing committee Mr.kotnis extented dussehra wishes to everyone and conveyed the message to nurture a scientific outlook. The program concluded with vote of thanks and a hymn to goddess Saraswati, this Dussehra celebration was unprecedented !!!!
