Goa sees 10.5% surge in tourist arrivals in Q1 2025: What's driving the growth

As per the latest reports, Goa has reportedly witnessed a significant 10.5% increase in tourist arrivals in the first quarter of 2025, as compared to the same period in the previous year. Reports add that this surge is attributed to the Goa Tourism Department's strategic initiatives, including enhanced promotion in key markets, improved international air connectivity, and diversification of tourism offerings.

Strategic outreach and marketingThe Goa Tourism Department used a three-pronged approach that emphasised diversifying tourism options, increasing international aviation connectivity, and bolstering promotion in core and growing markets. A wider range of tourists have been drawn in thanks in large part to these initiatives.
