Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar seems to have developed a fondness for referencing "artificial intelligence" in his remarks. Frequently, he uses the concept to humorously dismiss unrealistic demands or concerns raised by Opposition members. In one instance, when a member mistakenly scheduled a discussion on a past date, Dhankhar quipped that even AI couldn't make that possible. Similarly, during the voting on the Waqf bill, he remarked that not even AI could bring to life fears voiced by an Opposition leader.

Indicating a Thaw in Relations

The BJP in Assam appears to have reconciled with Rajen Gohain, former Union Minister and four-time MP from Nagaon. Gohain had distanced himself from the party in 2023, resigning from his post as chairman of the Assam Food and Civil Supplies Corporation. He had expressed concerns over the delimitation of constituencies, suggesting it had made the Nagaon unwinnable and posed demographic risks.
