Commercial LPG price hike: 19 Kg cylinder up by Rs 62, now Rs 1,802 in Delhi

Send Push
Oil marketing companies increased the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders on Friday, affecting businesses across the country soon after Diwali.

The cost of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs 62, making it Rs 1,802 in Delhi. Before this, it was priced at Rs 1,740. Smaller cylinders have also seen a price hike; the 5 kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders increased by Rs 15. However, there is no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders.

These new prices are now effective. This change will impact businesses and commercial establishments that use LPG cylinders. Restaurants, hotels, and small businesses could see higher operational costs due to these price increases.

This adjustment follows a previous hike on October 1, when the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders were raised by Rs 48.50 and the 5 kg FTL cylinders by Rs 12. The revised prices are a response to changing global market conditions.

With no change in domestic LPG prices, households will not experience an increase in their LPG costs, offering some relief amid rising commercial gas prices.
