Pakistan staged a resounding comeback as they won a Test at home after over three years, beating the touring England by 152 runs in Multan. The visitors struggled against the spin duo Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, with Pakistan finally breaking the home jinx. Shan Masood and co. was under the scanner after losing the Test series against Bangladesh at home by 0-2.

Things worsened when they started the England series with a heart-wrenching loss as they were beaten by an innings and 47 runs despite posting a mammoth 556 in the first innings. But after England failed to tackle spin in the second Test, former England cricketer Geoffrey Boycott has highlighted the team's weakness when posed with a spin threat.

"If our guys are honest with themselves as a team they should be asking why on  do they have these big collapses? One guy will get a big score like Ben Duckett in the first innings but as a unit the top order tends to crumble. It happened in India far too often. The only Test match they won in that series earlier this year was when Ollie Pope put on a one-man show and scored a fabulous 196 in Hyderabad,” said Boycott as quoted by Mirror.

"I think they have these failures because the players only have one way of batting which is attack, attack, attack to get on top of the opposition bowlers and bully them into submission,” he added.

Speaking of 's spin duo, Sajid picked seven wickets in the first inning and Noman dazzled with eight wicket haul in the second inning. England will enter the series decider against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi starting from October 24. It is worth noting that, when England visited Pakistan last time, they whitewashed them by 3-0.
