CAT 2025: Today, September 13, is the last date for registration for the CAT 2025 exam. Students dreaming of doing an MBA in IIM can apply till 5 pm on iimcat.ac.in. This time, the exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode.

CAT 2025: This is very important news for the candidates wishing to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. Today, September 13 is the last date for application. Students who have not yet filled the form, do not delay and complete the application process on the official website iimcat.ac.in by 5 pm.

CAT 2025 is being organized by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode. This year the coordinator of the exam will be Professor P. N. Ram Kumar. The application process started on August 1 and is now nearing its end. The exam will be conducted on November 30, 2025 at exam centers across the country.

How will the exam city be selected?

During registration, candidates will have to choose five exam cities as per their choice. After the last date of application, one of those cities will be allotted as the exam center. If the preferred city is not available, a nearby city will be allotted.

CAT 2025 Application Fee

For SC, ST and Divyang candidates: Rs 1300

For all other categories: Rs 2600

The candidate applying must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation (45% for SC, ST and Divyang category).

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Cities

This time the CAT exam will be held in about 170 cities across the country. The exam will be conducted in three shifts. All registered candidates will be issued admit cards at the scheduled time and no one will be allowed to enter without the hall ticket.

Complete the registration by filling in the required information.

Upload the required documents.

Pay the fee as per the category.

Submit the application form and take a print out for future reference.

IIM Admission Process

CAT score is the first step for IIM admission. After this, each IIM adopts its own criteria. Candidates are shortlisted based on academic record, work experience and diversity factors. Older IIMs like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta often give more importance to CAT score. Interviews and other stages also have to be completed for final selection.
