Total Vacancy

Through this recruitment, a total of 19838 posts of constable are to be filled in Bihar Police, out of which 7935 posts are of unreserved category, 1983 for EWS, 199 for Scheduled Tribes, 3174 for Scheduled Castes, 3571 for Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), 2381 for Backward Classes, 6717 posts for women and 595 posts are reserved for women of backward classes. Also, 397 posts have been reserved for freedom fighters.

Qualification

The applicant for these posts should have a 12th pass certificate.

Age Limit

The minimum age of applicants for these posts has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 25 years. Candidates for the reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.

Application fee

SC, ST, female candidates of all categories/categories of Bihar and third gender will have to pay Rs 180. At the same time, candidates of all other categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 675.
