Send Push

Netflix has many tense and scary movies in its ever-changing library of content and now they've just added a new edge-of-your-seat thriller film for your viewing pleasure.

The streaming platform released Don't Move yesterday (Friday 25 October) and it looks like it's left viewers terrified.

The film follows a woman being pursued by a serial killer as she attempts to get away from him at all costs.

Despite initially escaping, she learns he's injected her with a paralytic agent, giving her only twenty minutes to escape before her body completely shuts down.

Viewers have been sharing their reactions online as one person commented on Reddit: "Sooo good. Legit got me screaming at the end." (sic)

Another viewer agreed as they said: "I liked it too, her in the water had me on the edge of the seat."

Somebody else gushed: "I enjoyed this one! Was intense from start to finish, with an ending that was truly a chef’s kiss."

While a fourth added: "Great usage of the paralytic agent gimmick that leads to some tense sequences that are just on the cusp of believability."

The film features Kelsey Asbille as Iris, Finn Witrock as Richard, Moray Treadwell as Bill and Daniel Francis as Dontrell, the police officer.

It's been directed by duo Adam Schindler and Brian Netto and produced by none other than Spider-Man director Sam Raimi.

In less than 24 hours since its release on Netflix, Don't Move is already garnering plenty of positive reviews from critics, with 72% in favour of the film on Rotten Tomatoes.

Before the film, she had already appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man and TV shows, including Teen Wolf and Disney's Pair of Kings.

However, Kelsey is most-recognised for her ongoing role as Monica Dutton in the neo-Western drama series Yellowstone.

She's been a part of the show since its inception in 2018 and has so far featured in 29 episodes over five seasons.

The actress has also featured in 2017 crime film Wind River as well as the black-comedy series Fargo, in a recurring role.

Don't Move is streaming on Netflix now.
