Mikel Artetahas confirmed that Viktor Gyokeres is NOT available for Arsenal's trip to Slavia Prague on Tuesday, after sustaining an injuryduring Saturday's win against Burnley.
Gyokeres, 27, who scored Arsenal's first goal in a 2-0 victory at Turf Moor, was forced off at half-time with a muscle problem. He didn't train on Monday in preparation for Arsenal's Champions League clash against Slavia - and now it has been revealed that he won't be involved in the game.
Speaking pre-match, Arteta said on Gyokeres: "No he's not available, he hasn't trained today and we need to do some more tests and scans to understand the extent of the injury."

"Well obviously he was very disappointed after the match but this is part of football," Arteta added. "If you expect a linear line always going up it's not going to happen. For tomorrow we don't have him.
Gyokeres' goal at Burnley was his third in his last three appearances - and his sixth for the club - after scoring a brace in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid.
But, despite coming off at half-time and only scoring once in the win at the Clarets, Arsenal head coach Arteta believes it was his most complete performance in a Gunners shirt so far.
"I think that was one of the best games he has played," Arteta said on Gyokeres, who joined the Gunners from Sporting CP in July, after Saturday's game. "I think overall his performance was exceptional.
"Everything - his high press, his position and his touches. His running in behind, the way he linked play, the way he got us from this situation to transition moments, a lot. I think he was in a really good moment.
"It's a shame that he felt something. We had to take him off because he was feeling a little niggle. So we’ll have to wait and see. He felt something muscular, so we have to wait to learn the extent of that."
Arsenal's win at Burnley was their NINTH victory in a row across all competitions. Five of them have come in the Premier League - a run that has catapulted the Gunners to six points clear at the top of the table. Manchester City are six points behind in second, with Liverpool third and Bournemouth fourth.
Arteta's side are now the runaway favourites for the Premier League title. "Not so much a different feeling," Arteta said. "I think the last couple of years, we have been challenging for the title as well. I think we are on the right track. Still a long way to go, we want to win every game, that is our mindset."
