Jason Kelce has rubbished rumours that he dozed off during "Eras Tour" concert at the ' Hard Rock Stadium.

The icon and ex- center, aged 36, represented the Kelce family at his brother's girlfriend's packed gig last week, while Travis Kelce was absent as the geared up for their Super Bowl LVIII rematch with the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Despite a viral photo showing him with closed eyes as Swift wowed the crowd, Jason Kelce insists he wasn't asleep, highlighting that his hand was in mid-air – something he argues you can't do while sleeping. "I'm not even sleeping and I can prove it to you," he declared on the "New Heights" podcast with brother Travis.

"There's evidence in this photo that I'm not sleeping. My hand is hovering. You can't sleep with your hand hovering. It's impossible."

"I'm tapping my thigh in the moment. And then all of a sudden, I go on and I see this picture. And I'm like, dude, what the? " he added. Yet, a teaser from the podcast X showed multiple clips of the retired NFL star nodding off, lending some credibility to the online buzz that he was catching some sleep at Swift's show.

In a candid revelation, Kylie Kelce, wife of NFL star Jason Kelce and mother to his three children, shared that on their first date, Kelce fell asleep due to being drunk. "The first time we hung out, he fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk," she confessed.

Beau Allen, a longtime friend and former Eagles teammate, chimed in, saying, "I actually was looking back through like some old photos and I have a disturbing amount of like photos of you just asleep in various places," There's even a snap of Kelce with his eyes closed at a previous Chiefs game, where he was cheering for his brother Travis, a three-time Super Bowl winner. "Definitely fell asleep. A little bit too inebriated," Kelce quipped.

After retiring from the NFL following Philadelphia's 2023 Wild Card playoff exit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, Kelce bid an emotional farewell to the sport, leaving as an Eagles legend, a Super Bowl winner, and a future NFL Hall of Famer. Now, he's enjoying retired life with his three children, Wyatt Elizabeth, 4, Elliotte "Ellie" Ray, 3, and Bennett "Bennie" Llewellyn, 1, and his wife Kylie.

Meanwhile, his younger brother Travis is making NFL history with Kansas City, who have won the last two Super Bowls in a row. The Chiefs are currently 6-0 in 2024 and are aiming to win a league-first three-peat.
